Get Paid To Search

I finally got enough points to redeem my $25 Visa Gift Card from Scour. You need 6500 points for a $25 gift card, more for a $50 or $100 gift card. It took me 376 days to do it lol! I forgot to do Scour for all my searches so that's why it took so long.

Oh well it's easy money and at least I get a little something for searching whereas as I never got jack from Google or Yahoo. It takes 2-4 weeks for the whole process for me to get my gift card so I can't count my chickens yet. I mainly use it when I do ChaCha so who knows how long it would have taken me to get my gift card if it wasn't for that.

Scour is like any other search engine only they pay you to search! You get one point for a search, vote, or comment on the search result. Why not get paid for something you're already doing for free?





Update

As of September 1st they are changing the rewards system. Now instead of getting points for a gift card for each search you do you will get an entry into a daily drawing for $25. I do not like this new system and a lot of other people are not happy with it either. I don't know if I will continue doing Scour anymore after I get my $25 gift card.

Got Paid by Cash Crate

Got paid $20.56 from Cash Crate. I hadn't done this site regularly in a while. The majority of my earnings came from referral activity so it actually took a few months to get payout. I actually sort of forgot about the site.

FREE Aveeno Samples

I love free samples. I just came across this free shampoo and conditioner from Aveeno. Get it here.

I hope they are real bottles and not just the little packets you sometimes get, but I guess beggars can't be choosers.

Time For an Update

This is scary. I'm going backwards. My previous debt was $11,437.81. As I said in my previous post I spent way too much on my trip this month and now my new total is dun dun dun... $12,525.65. Ouch! I couldn't count on my ChaCha money this month because I either didn't have time or was too lazy to do it. Better luck next month.

Thanks for Lunch

I got a $3 tip at work today which I used to by myself lunch. Now I don't normally get tips for what I do. I'm not a waitress or work in an industry that is customary to tip so when I get one I am surprised and very happy even if it's a dollar. I may get a $1 or $2, or $3 maybe once a month. About three weeks ago I got my biggest tip $15! That really made my day (doesn't take much to make me happy :)).

Today when I got the tip I was thinking hmmm maybe I should save up all my tips for the next couple months and see how much it adds up (not much I know but every bit helps). Then I was thinking I find pennies on the street a lot, only pennies no dimes, nickels quarters, just pennies. Maybe I will start saving those too. Sounds a little desperate right?

I just got back from a trip overseas and spent way too much money (and hate to admit that I charged a lot of it on my credit card ouch!) so I guess I'm sounding really desperate now for any extra money. But I had a good time and travel is my passion so I tell myself that any trip is money well spent lol!
