My Freebie Day

I had a pretty good day getting free stuff. First I got my taxes done for free. I'm getting a $748 refund. Some of that I'm using to pay down debt and some I'm saving. Then I went to Walmart to get my free bottle of Suave (I got the tropical coconut conditoner). The coupon was a $3 value. I paid $1.68 + tax for it and I got $1.21 back! How cool is that. They actually paid me $1.21 for a free bottle!

The day before I got some McDonalds coupons in the mail. Just my luck there was a McD's in Walmart so I used one of the coupons for a $1 fillet of fish and I used the dollar I got from the free Suave to buy that. Well I was in more luck because wouldn't you know there was a McD's right across the parking lot from Walmart ( it was one coupon per customer) so I went to the McD's across the street to use another coupon for a free drink.

So I got taxes done for free, a free bottle of conditioner and a free lunch. I just love getting freebies!
