I waited to post this until I got my first payment. I've known about ChaCha for a while but I only signed up for it last month. Had I known before how much money I could have earned I would have signed up for it sooner. Well better late than never.
I got my first payment a few days ago. My current earnings so far is $536.20.
To explain it simply, ChaCha is a text answering service. As a ChaCha guide you will answer questions from people (Info Seekers as we call them) who text their questions on their cell phone.
Guides work from home on their computer answering info seekers questions using the internet to get the answers. The questions can be as simple as what's the weather like in Dallas to what's the square root of 1000298.
Guides are paid .10 or .20 cents per query. The more questions you answer and the more complete and accurate answers you give you will earn the most money. They also have contests where you can earn extra cash.
To become a ChaCha guide you must pass a fitness test which is three parts. The first part is information about ChaCha after watching a video that explains the who, what, where and how. Part 2 is a typing test and part 3 is to test you on finding accurate answers to questions.
If you pass you will be invited to become a guide but you have to pass one more test and this is like taking queries for the actual job.

my username as a guide is drewsteriam5. I am still in training but should be done soon. How long after you completed your training did you receive the email confirming your membership?
It took almost a week after I completed the simulator. There were problems with the system and it signed me out so I had to go back and complete 1 more query. It seems the system problems are not as bad now. For some it's sooner, some longer. I can't say you will hear from them the next day it just depends. So if you don't heat anything in a few days don't panic.
The only thing I am worried about is the fact that I didn't realize you couldn't use wikipedia until after my first 3 or so questions, so I hope I don't get declined. If you don't mind answering, did you make your whole $560ish dollars in one month and if so how long did you work each day? Also, when you are logged on do you get questions fast like one after another? Thanks, I love the blog by the way.
Yes I made the money in one month. I wasn't working outside the home so I had time to ChaCha all day. I was probably on at least 5 or more hours a day off and on. This month I won't have as much time. When it's busy the questions come back to back. Good luck and thanks for the comment.
